Today we went swimming and played badmington. I felt very restricted with my one fully working eye. I played 3 games of doubles in badminton and lost them all. I had to apoligise to Daniel and Damon, my team mates, as I let them down making some odd shots. I did however have a singles match against Bob and I won.

Evie didn’t enjoy swimming as much we’d thought she would. We got in the main kids pool but she cried, even when she was in her blow-up boat thing. We ended up in the kids area which was more of a paddling area. Evie loved it! She liked splashing her nanny Annie.

Bob hired Evie one of them cars you can push your children aroung in. Again, Evie loved it! So much so, we are gonna buy her one for her b’day.
